I was at a deli counter, ordering. I handed the clerk my debit card. He said, “thanks, darling.” I said “darling?” He looked down at my debit card (to get my name), said “hi Lauren Taylor, good to meet you. I’m David.”

Not a biggie, but it felt good to make my point. and he got it!
