I was walking down the street to get to the metro when the driver of a moving van cat-called me from inside the vehicle! Since he was in a marked vehicle, I took down the company name and number. At first, I didn’t want to report it because I’m sure he needs the job, but at the same time, I need to be able to feel safe walking down the street in broad daylight. Also, I realize that the reason he can get away with street harassment is because women don’t feel comfortable reporting.
