“I am a human being!”
I was walking quickly down the street toward the Georgia Avenue/Petworth metro and a man said “slow down, baby.” I turned my head to him and said “you don’t need to call me that name, I am a human being!” I did not stop walking, however, since I was in a rush. He was yelling after me, though I couldn’t understand what he was saying.
