“I was sexually harassed at least 6 times while walking home from work in Dupont.”
Location: Walking from Dupont to Howard U
Time: Daytime (9:30am-3:30pm)
Walking home from my job in Dupont, I was harassed in varying degrees of lewdness no less than six times — and that’s just what I noticed with my headphones in.
Everything from gross sound effects to people singing songs about my ass as I walk by to unintelligible catcalls followed by dudes high fiving each other. Ugh. My route is 17th to New Hampshire to U to 14th, most harassment on U and 14th.
Emphases by CASS.
