Street Harassed in Farragut West
Location: 19th and K St NW (Farragut West)
Time: Morning Rush Hour (5am-9:30am)
I was walking to work when I passed a man walking in the same direction I was. He smiled and said hello. I said hi back, and he started to walk next to me, very closely. He asked me if I had a boyfriend. I started to speed up and walk away from him, and he said “You’re very beautiful.” It was an unwelcome comment.
