“I was harassed on the street with HIPAA protected information.”
Location: Glover Park
Time:Daytime (9:30am-3:30pm)
I had experienced a mental breakdown that forced me to leave my university in Florida early and not get the degree I had taken classes for. This was compounded when, after going to therapy and trying to get help, I was harassed on the street with the HIPAA protected information I had given my psychologist. I immediately filed a complaint with my therapist’s regulatory body but never heard back. There were half a dozen incidences or more of this during the two years I had to live with my father after I left university.
