We are committed to uplifting the voices and experiences of impacted communities and to following the leadership of those individuals., CASS recognizes that survivors are the experts of their own experiences and that survivors who live in impacted communities are best- equipped to support these communities. Because no one person’s experience or expertise guides our vision, we do not believe in a hierarchical model of leadership and we do not seek to replicate imbalanced power dynamics.
