CASS has offered fee-for-service workshops for almost 15 years, and has trained thousands of individuals and over 150 organizations, businesses, and collectives in DC and across the country.
Through our workshops and technical assistance, we aim to make workplaces, organizations, and public spaces safer environments by equipping people with concrete tools to effectively address harassment, conflict, and other forms of harm without state or carceral interventions.
Our foundational workshops have been building learning spaces to train individuals on addressing anti-harassment in the workplace, within community groups, and in the nightlife industry. We’ve since expanded our offerings to include workshops and technical assistance on transformative justice, anti-oppression, anti-patriarchy topics, because we believe safe spaces require a holistic, responsive, and anti-carceral approach that supports all marginalized people.
Our current paid workshops and technical assistance aim to equip individuals and groups with concrete tools, skills, and practices that increase collective safety in the workplace or within a community group.
Our primary focus has been supporting DC and DMV-based groups, and we also offer in-person and virtual workshops for other cities and states.
